Travelling with Your Pet in Geneva

Many travellers do not want to leave their dog or cat behind. Taxis and ride-hailing drivers often refuse animals; with a private chauffeur, you can request a pet-friendly transfer when booking, so the vehicle and driver are prepared.

How it works

  • Tell us the type, size and number of animals when booking – we confirm availability
  • Small pets travel in their carrier; larger dogs travel in the luggage area of a V-Class, with suitable protection
  • Stops can be planned on longer journeys

Travelling across borders with a pet

For trips between Switzerland, France and Italy, your dog or cat needs a microchip, a valid rabies vaccination and a pet passport. Check the current rules with your vet before travelling.
